MCH Welcomes New Laboratory Manager

Guillermo SantaMountains Community Hospital welcomes Guillermo Santa as their new Laboratory Manager. Guillermo, a graduate of California State University, San Jose, and a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, is looking forward to growing and developing the laboratory to provide exceptional service to our community.

Guillermo, originally from Colombia, immigrated to Menlo Park, California, in 1964. He has over 27 years of experience, having spent half of his career as the Laboratory Director of Kindred Hospital Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga. Guillermo oversaw the start-up of both labs, which provided services to 13 Kindred Hospitals in Southern California. He then consulted at numerous labs across the country with a focus on compliance and assessments.

Guillermo’s focus is on improving customer service, team building, and making it a place where people want to work. Terry Pena, COO/CNO says, “Guillermo has already proven to be a great addition to MCH. His attention to detail and organization will allow the Lab to move in a positive direction and provide our community with a great resource. We look forward to seeing what Guillermo can do to enhance our Lab.”

Guillermo spends the weekdays in the mountain and the weekends at his home in Murrieta. He enjoys the slow pace of mountain life and the mountain is the perfect place for Guillermo to explore hobbies like photography and astronomy in his downtime.
