Current California Pharmacy Technician License
High School graduate or equivalent
One year or more of hospital pharmacy experience or completion of additional hospital-focused experience from an accredited technician school
Good written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrates good command of basic mathematical calculations with the ability to tech-check pharmacist calculations when warranted
Available to work all shifts and weekends
Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
Experience in sterile IV preparation, technician order entry,Omnicell/Pyxis and unit dose preparation
Familiar with: tech-check,medication safety and medication reconciliation process
