QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Current active CA Pharmacy Technician registration

• High School graduate or equivalent

• New graduates are welcome to apply

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrates good command of basic mathematical calculations with the ability to tech-check pharmacist calculations when warranted

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED

• Able to work all shifts and weekends

• Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)

• Sterile IV preparation, technician order entry, Omnicell/Pyxis experience, unit dose preparation experience

• Familiarity with: tech-check-tech, medication safety and medication reconciliation process
