Things You’ll Need To Know

Accommodations

If you will be a patient at Mountains Community Hospital, take comfort in the fact that MCH is staffed by experienced, compassionate professionals who are dedicated to your care.

Preparing for Your Stay

What to Bring With You

  1. Personal identification (examples include your driver’s license, military ID or passport).

  2. Medical insurance information and identification cards.

  3. An accurate list of your current medications and any over-the-counter vitamins and herbs you are taking (for your doctor and nurse to review).


For an Overnight Stay

For your comfort, you may pack a small bag, containing the personal articles you wish to bring to the hospital. These may include:

  1. Pajamas.

  2. Robe and slippers (washable).

  3. Toiletries.

    • Toothpaste/toothbrush.

    • Shampoo/conditioner.

    • Soap.

    • Deodorant.

    • Shower cap.

  4. Clothing to go home in.

Valuables

Please DO NOT bring valuable items such as large sums of money or jewelry with you to the hospital.  Leave your valuables at home or with a family member.

Visiting Hours

Medical & Surgical: 9:00am – 8:00pm

Skilled Nursing Facility: No specific visiting hours but please check in with the Charge Nurse
