EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition/Dietetics; to include internship, in coordinated undergraduate program or Master’s Degree.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration and Member of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
SUMMARY
The Registered Dietician plans, organizes, directs and evaluates all aspects of nutritional services to include: Principles and practices of clinical nutrition, administration, supervision, and personnel management; Federal, State, TJC, CPSP and MOW regulations and procedures; sanitation, safety, infection control, quality improvement; methods of equipment and materials involved in quantity food production, menu planning, inventory, ordering and portion control; develop annual budget; formulate policies and procedures, schedules and standards; perform nutritional assessments, documentation, care planning and MDS; all nutritional clinical documentation. Research, design and present information relating to production and nutrition education.
