EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition/Dietetics; to include internship, in coordinated undergraduate program or Master’s Degree.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Current Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration and Member of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

SUMMARY

• The Registered Dietician plans, organizes, directs and evaluates all aspects of nutritional services to include: Principles and practices of clinical nutrition, administration, supervision, and personnel management; Federal, State, TJC, CPSP and MOW regulations and procedures; sanitation, safety, infection control, quality improvement; methods of equipment and materials involved in quantity food production, menu planning, inventory, ordering and portion control; develop annual budget; formulate policies and procedures, schedules and standards; perform nutritional assessments, documentation, care planning and MDS; all nutritional clinical documentation. Research, design and present information relating to production and nutrition education.
