Mountains Community Hospital Rural Health Clinic

A Primary Care Clinic For Medi-Cal, Medicare, IEHP, and Cash Patients

For several years, the Mountains Community Hospital Rural Health Clinic in Lake Arrowhead has provided family and general practice outpatient services to the residents and visitors of the San Bernardino Mountain Communities.
Our doctors and nurses have a wide range of specialties to include pediatrics and women’s health. As well, they also have extensive experience treating many illnesses and injuries.
We are able to accept a wide variety of patients by accepting Medi-Cal, Medicare, IEHP, and cash, credit cards, check.

If you do not have insurance, the Rural Health Clinic can see you as a “cash” patient on a reduced fee basis.

A fifty percent (50%) discount is given to patients paying by cash, check or credit card at the time of service.  Additional sliding scale discounts are available but require income verification.  Please contact the Rural Health Clinic Office for details.  Discounts are not available for psychology services or for IUD insertion.

The MCH Rural Clinic is located at 29099 Hospital Road, Suite 200, in the Medical Building next to Mountains Community Hospital.

Services Offered:

       Treatment of Acute/Chronic illness and injury.
       Check-ups and physicals for newborns, children and adults.
       Women’s health services to include Pap smears and contraception.
       Newborn and pediatric care.
       Immunizations.
       Flu shots.
       Psychologist.

In the event of more complicated cases, we also have a network of doctors for referral in order for you to receive the highest level of care possible.

Van Services

For patients who have difficulty getting to our clinic, our Mountains Community Hospital Rural Clinic Van is available to see a variety of patients. The van goes out weekly to different locations throughout the mountain communities to see patients – May through November (weather permitting). Please contact us to schedule an appointment. For your convenience, there is also a MARTA stop just a few feet from our office.


Rural Clinic Office Hours:

Monday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
(Closed weekdays from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the lunch hour)
