Volunteer

Volunteers provide about 15,000 hours each year raising funds and supplementing hospital staff so time and money can be used more effectively. MCH Auxiliary members promote and advance the welfare of the hospital, assist patients and hospital personnel, assist good public relations, and aid purchase of needed equipment through fundraising activities.

Auxiliary members serve in numerous hospital areas: Admitting, Central Supply, Extended Care & Recovery Center, Laboratory, Medical/Surgical Dept., Purchasing, Radiology and the MCHA Gift Shop. They serve outside the hospital making Boo-Boo bears for pediatric patients, preparing tray favors for patients and Meals on Wheels clients, assist with health fairs, maintain rose gardens and annual Rose Memorial Service, and assist at Rural Clinics at Lake Arrowhead and Running Springs.

We welcome your interest. To volunteer with the Mountains Community Hospital Auxiliary, please call the Hospital Gift Shop, (909) 336-3651, for membership information. Or you can email our Membership VP, Laurie Plemel.
